A bright and creative mainstream secondary school in
Blandford Forum are seeking to recruit a qualified
Female PE Teacher to join them from
Easter on a part time basis.
This role will be temporary until July 2023; however, further prospects could arise.
- 4 days a week.
You must hold QTS or have experience teaching physical education as a cover supervisor to be considered for this position.
No planning or marking unless permanent position is offered.
Pay:
£120 - £145 a day
Requirements to be considered:
- Uptodate knowledge of the UK PE curriculum.
- Knowledge of PE examination processes and requirements for GCSE.
- Knowledge of physical exercises, stretching, nutrition and sports recovery.
- Knowledge of different rules and regulations for sports, including athletics and team sports.
- Basic knowledge of first aid and recognised firstaid certificate shift patterns.
- Two contact references from your most recent employers.
- A child only DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one.
Responsibilities will include:
- Preparing lessons and teaching materials.
- Teach and coach a range of sports and physical activities to pupils of different ages and abilities.
- Manage class behaviour, motivate, and encourage all pupils to take part.
- Work with learning support assistants to help pupils with varying abilities.
- Preparing to go the extra mile to enable students to do as well as possible.
They are responsible for the welfare of their students and for ensuring that students can gain the qualifications they need to advance their education ortheir desired career paths after school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
