The Lenches Pre-school provides outdoor focused high quality early years education for children aged 2-4 years old.

We are a small Committee Led village Pre-School set in the heart of The Lenches villages and amongst some of the most stunning rural surroundings in Worcestershire.

We encourage outdoor learning and have access to a beautiful community orchard where we hold our forest school sessions.

We also have our own outdoor stay and play facility operated by parents and Committee Members of which Pre-school children also have access to.

The Lenches Pre-school is a charity setting meaning everything we do is for the benefit of the children.

We are seeking a highly motivated person to join our small team who has a passion for outdoor early years learning.

Any applicant will need to have a working knowledge of the reformed Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework with a particular focus on the quality of education.

This is a permanent position during term time only. Initially the hours are part time from 3 days a week and can be negotiated. Approximate start and finish times are between 9.00 am and 3.00/3.30pm (times can be negotiated and are flexible).

This is a rare opportunity to work in a small committee led Pre-school and have a real impact on our small early years setting.

Purpose of the job:
To work as a key person and as part of the Pre-school team under the direction of the Manager. To provide safe, high quality early years education and care for children that meets their individual needs.

• Level 3 or higher qualification in Early Years or equivalent
• Commitment to young children and families.
• Over 1 years experience working with young children within the Early Years Foundation Stage. (Desirable).
• Ability to work well within a team.
• Enthusiastic about outdoor learning and keen to join our growing Forest School (no requirement to be a Forest School leader although this would be beneficial).
