1st Line IT Engineer

Part of LSL Property Services plc, PRIMIS Mortgage Network are the largest Mortgage and Protection Network in the UK with some 950 firms as business partners and approaching 3000 advisors working alongside us.


PRIMIS offer world class support to our partner firms nationally through a multitude of support services which include our IT team whom are located in the
PRIMIS HQ on the Methuen Park in Chippenham SN14.

A split between home and office working is available.

We are keen to recruit a
1st Line IT Engineer into our existing well established IT team.


We are either looking for an experienced 1st line support engineer or a highly customer service focused individualwithout the experience but with the right attributes that we can train in the skills.


Role Purpose:

To provide support to both internal and external IT users with IT and our associated systems.


Key Accountabilities of the role:


To provide professional technical support to our advisors, ensuring they have a fully working system they can use to provide advice correctly to their customers.

Providing Technical support and assistance to both Head Office and to our field based

Answering support calls to assist advisors with any technical issues whilst using the various group systems.

Provide general broker support for day to day IT issues.

Assist in the day to day support of our 3000+ mortgage brokers including our Toolbox and associated online systems.

General Internal User Support

Assist with the day to day management of Desktop Infrastructure.

Duties as required in the operation of the day to day IT function.


Ideal Experience and Knowledge:

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Software and ideally other Microsoft Systems.


Communication:

Communicating openly and at a level relevant to the audience. Communicating clearly and concisely, both when speaking and writing.


Customer Focus:

  • Being aware of and responding positively to internal and external customer needs and feedback.
Ability to make effective decisions, analysing and solving problems as appropriate. Using own judgment, information and ideas to determine best way forward.


Location and work pattern - Methuen Business Park, Chippenham SN14, Mon - Fri / 9am - 5 pm


Salary - £20,000 - £24,000 negotiable DOE
