This position reports into the Grocery Channel Business Manager and is based at High Wycombe office (hybrid)

What will you do


You will be expected to lead your team to craft and execute market leading commercial plans that drive sustainable growth for Johnson and Johnson hair brands and help our retailer partners build category growth through well-defined and executed partnerships.


You will have directly day to day responsibility for some customers and be responsible for the overall in year NTS and profit delivery, leading the commercial strategy for the total UK market on haircare across pricing, promotions and distribution.


This role has line management responsibility, and a key part of this role will be helping to drive their development and career.


Key competencies:


  • Customer focused demonstrate multiple examples of building collaborative relationships at multiple levels and across functions across a range of retailer partners.
  • Strong commercial acumen, showcasing consistent delivery against internal and external metrics
  • Real passion and understanding of the consumer and shopper as well as the customer.
  • Expert understanding and experience of working with UK grocery and high street retailers across multi format/channels.
  • Exceptional listening and communication skills written, verbal and presentation
  • Coaching capability to help develop both direct reports and other stakeholders.
  • Connect you actively build, improve and lead a breadth and depth of relationships with key external and internal partners.
  • Deliver you're someone that acts with speed, agility, flexibility, grip, transparency, authenticity and accountability
  • Shape you're an architect and a builder that operates with an attitude of 'we can if.'

Principle Responsibilities

  • Leadership and development of the team who manage our high street and grocery business partners.
  • Lead and support the strategic development and execution of commercial strategy, plans and projects to deliver Vogue growth agenda.
  • Direct responsibility for one business partner shaping and executing JBP that delivers value for both businesses.
  • Working with brand and category to develop and execute brand building and sales driving activities including NPD sell ins, promotional activity, ranging recommendations, activations instore and online.
  • Management of internal financial activity, build and adapting timely demand forecasts, performance tracking.
