Our Consultancy client is dedicated to designing and engineering public spaces which are attractive, innovative, safe, and sustainable.
With a growing pipeline of new clients, solid and long term projects secured, this is an exciting period of growth for the business. We are looking to appoint an experienced Regional Director for the North division to lead this growth and developthe engineering capability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial and commercial performance of region.
- Delivery of financial targets (chargeable hours, invoicing levels, billing, margins etc)
- Ensure fit for purpose processes are in place to support service operations.
- Provide analysis, advice and support to resolve problems and enhance business and operational performance.
- Drive recruitment
- Actively seek new opportunities for large projects.
- Demonstrate exceptional leadership and direction to ensure the maintenance of professional standards and high levels of motivation and commitment.
- Build a management team that is highly motivated in looking after clients
- Formulate training, development and succession plans.
- Support the production of tender documents, communications and marketing material.
- Assist to produce budget forecasts.
- Monitor and update progress against business targets.
- Contribute to the business strategy and plan
The Person:
- Degree or equivalent
- Currently working at minimum Technical Director leve
- Substantial experience in transportation or engineering related disciplines
- Substantial experience in managing large teams and significant budgets at senior level
- Professional Membership MICE/MCILT/MCIHT
- Broad and deep professional experience in programme and project management.
- Broad business knowledge and understanding.
- Significant skills and experience in people management
