Yolk Recruitment is partnered with a global engineering leader in the recruitment of a Regional EHS Manager to join a growing operation.

My client is seeking a Regional EHS Manager who will play a pivotal role in ensuring strict adherence to Environmental, Health, and Safety regulations and standards within our organisation.

This critical position will involve establishing and upholding comprehensive EHS policies and procedures, ensuring their ongoing maintenance and improvement. The Regional EHS Manager position is for multiple sites in the North area.

What you'll be doing:
  • The utmost priority is placed on health and safety, guaranteeing full adherence to established health and safety protocols. Effective and clear communication with all stakeholders is consistently maintained.
  • The responsibility of overseeing and implementing the Health and Safety Management system is entrusted for UK ADE, ST, and AGI operations. This is achieved by following a Plan, Do, Check, Act approach, ensuring a systematic and proactive management of health and safety matters.
  • Identify the risks, who could be harmed and how; identifying what you need to do to manage it.
  • Learn from accidents, incidents and near misses and disseminate lessons learned.
  • Review plans, policy documents, risk assessments etc. to ensure there up to date.
  • Involve the workforce and management to create positive behaviours.

And this is what you'll need:

  • Certified H&S training (NEBOSH trained) essential.
  • Certified ISO internal auditor essential.
  • Knowledge of Engineering/Manufacturing environment.
