Over the last 35 years, The CGM Group has grown into the region's leading Grounds Maintenance company.

We provide a wide and varied range of services including Grounds Maintenance, Horticulture, Arboriculture, and Landscaping, to both public and private sector clients.

We are looking to recruit Grounds Maintenance Operatives for our East Midlands Team. You will be achieving high standards for the Company. As Ground Operative you will already have excellent experience and understanding of working with grass-cutting machinery of all types.

This role is being offered on a full-time, permanent basis.

Hours of work are 47.5 hours per week between the hours of 6.30 am to 4.45 pm Monday to Friday.

What you'll be doing...
To operate a range of commercial equipment including ride-on mowers, strimmers, and hedge cutters
To ensure all machinery, equipment and vehicles are well maintained at all times
Ensuring all machinery, equipment, and vehicles used are clean, present, safely stored, free from rubbish, and fit for purpose.
Maintaining grass areas
Strimming
Pruning shrubs and hedges with mechanical and hand-operated equipment

Willing to work on the water on an aquatic weed boat as deckhand or operative (full training provided)

Other Grounds Maintenance duties may be required.

We are looking for a multi-skilled operator as follows;

A driving license is essential as you will be covering the surrounding area
PA6 spraying qualification is preferred
First Aid At Work Certificate
NVQ in grass cutting machinery is preferred
Inland Helmsman ticket (training provided)
