Salary:
£32,000 to £35,000. + Weekly bonus

The Role:

Our client are currently looking for an
experienced vehicle mechanic/technician for the busy service centre in Andover. Looking for a team player, skilled in diagnostics, fault finding, and a demonstrable ability to find a first-time fix.

You will report to the Service Manager, you will carry out all aspects of light vehicle maintenance, MOT's, servicing, and repairs with the highest level of quality and efficiency.

As well as serving a private client base across the local area, they alsohave several large fleet maintenance contracts, so they see a high volume of Class 7 light commercial vehicles on their ramps.

Skills and Experience:

This is a middleweight role so you should have a solid mechanical background with at least 5 years of experience in a similar workshop environment:
You will be skilled in diagnostics and fault finding with a demonstratable ability to find a first-time fix.
MOT Tester or willing to train.
Looking for team players with a positive attitude
You will be expected to reach and exceed efficiency targets, with the ability to perform under pressure during busy periods without losing your cool.
A friendly disposition and good communication skills are also a must as there may be times when you need to speak to customers either in person or via their CitNOW videosharing app.
Own tools are essential

Hours:

You will be working a 45hour week
Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm
Saturday mornings on a rota basis.
