Description

eduMe is an innovative frontline training solution used by businesses globally to upskill and empower their workforce by embedding engaging training into their flow of work.

Workday-backed and certified, we partner with companies like Uber, Marriott, and Home Depot to improve the onboarding, productivity, retention, and safety of their people.

We have offices in London, UK and Los Angeles, USA, and we are driven by a shared mission to make a difference.

Motivated, caring, results-oriented, and passionate about what we do, we're looking for like minded individuals to join us on the journey

You will work in one of our autonomous product squads, focusing on an area of the product, building a better understanding of our customers' problems and delivering lovable solutions.

In addition, you will team up with the other designers to improve our design process.

Please note:
We're hiring for multiple Product Design roles, if you have a lot more experience than we describe below, check out our Senior Product Designer position

What you'll do:

  • Join customer calls, dig into data with your Product Manager or run other appropriate research activities to investigate and understand our users' needs
  • Contribute ideas for product features and improvements based on your knowledge of our users and guide others in your squad to do the same
  • Effectively collaborate with your whole squad (Product Manager, Engineers, QA) to take ideas from early concept through to a fullyvalidated feature releases
  • Partner with other designers to propose bigger strategic changes to the product, thinking holistically and including stakeholders from across the company
  • Contribute to improving the design process and regularly share inspiration and feedback with the other designers to improve their craft
  • Maintain high standards for usability, accessibility and quality of design work across the product.

What you'll need:

  • At least 3 years of professional experience as a Product or UX & UI Designer, with a minimum of 1 year spent iterating on and evolving the same webbased product in a crossfunctional squad or agile team.
  • You've repeatedly taken features from ideation and research right through to successful postlaunch adoption.
  • You work across the full Product Design discipline rather than specialising heavily in one particular area. Ideally you're as comfortable solving usability and IA issues as you are at producing highquality visuals or crafting great microcopy.
  • You've worked with others to set up and run qualitative user research if you've facilitated it, that's a big plus
  • Experience contributing to and evolving a design system as part of a multiperson design team
  • Examples of continuous improvement in your process and enthusiasm to optimise the way your squad and the wider Product team works.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates a thoughtful process and highquality output
  • A preference for taking an iterative approach; you aim to create highly useful and engaging experiences, but favour progress and learning over perfection.

What we will offer you:

  • 33 days of paid leave a year (including bank holidays) with the option to carry 5 days over
  • Inclusion in the company share option plan you're a part of the success
  • Flexible working to support you, your life, and those around you, supported by a generous budget to set up your home working environment for comfort and success
  • On top of the above, we offer every employee the chance to spend a month working from anywhere around the globe, every year
  • Private healthcare with Vitality
  • Enhanced parental leave for primary and secondary carers
  • A Personal Learning and Education budget and time dedicated for any learning activities you want to pursue
