Reporting directly to the Head of Retail CEO Office, this role oversees the operations of the CEO Office and supports the strategic direction of the Retail organisation.

This includes being a strategic advisor, confidante, facilitator and implementer, dealing with issues and solving problems to support the Retail CEO Office, and their priorities.

Whilst this role can be done primarily from home, you will be required to go to our London Office as required.


What you'll be doing:


  • Supporting Retail CEO Office agenda and priorities including a weekly catch up on CEO key deliverables, prioritisation, and CEO's diary management
  • Coordinating Retail meetings and events and collaborating with other departments and teams to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the Office
  • Supporting CEO's communication and public relations
  • Driving and connecting CEO's comms (internal and external) and writing briefing notes prior to external meetings and events
  • Collaborating with our Internal, External, and social media comms teams
  • Preparing Retail ExCom materials (including but not limited to: Retail ExCom packs, ExCom 1:1 document, UK&I MC papers etc.). Supporting Retail ExCom meetings, agendas, minutes, and actions
  • Managing, prioritising, and delivering Adhoc requests delegated by the Head of CEO Office and/or CEO
  • Continuously reviewing and improving processes and procedures to optimise Retail operations
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with CEO Office, ExCom, Retail, UK&I and Group stakeholders
  • Assisting with special projects as needed and jointly ensuring delivery of strategic initiatives

Qualifications:


  • 1 to 2 years of experience in the following areas is a plus: Graduate Scheme / Consulting / Public Affairs / Comms & Media / Journalism / Company Secretarial
  • Experience within Financial Services desirable
  • Flexibility / career driven / resilient / with the ability to work with ambiguity and under significant pressure
  • Ability to rapidly understand, assimilate, analyse, and act on complex business and financial issues
  • Excellent writing skills (papers, briefing notes, comms)
  • A high level of initiative and organisation with very strong attention to detail and focus on execution with the ability to deliver at pace
  • Courage to question with curious mindset, consistently bringing the outside in
  • High level of numeracy/ financial acumen ready to develop
  • Communication skills at individual and organisational levels, with ability to work across different levels of the organisation
  • Influencing skills, networking ability, interpersonal skills, resilience, political awareness, and stakeholder sensitivity
  • High levels of integrity, discretion and judgement
  • Good understanding of the AXA Group, and how decisions are made in complex organisation is desirable


As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
