Job Purpose:

To provide effective and diligent production operative skills at all times and provide optimised support to the overall production function based at Cereform, Corby.

Key job Dimensions

• Ensure that operational productivity is maintained at all times in a consistent standard that supports the business needs
• Provide robust, clear and effective production operative skills, which enhance our customer service deliverance
• To provide help and support within the production operational team through effective communications at all times with other sites based teams and where appropriate other company sites / teams.
• Ensure that the production operative standards are met, and where possible exceeded and supporting the Corby Operation to meet its overall objectives in a timely manner

Total Working Hours per Week

Your average weekly hours will be 42 per week working a "continental" shift system of 12 hour shifts alternating days and nights.

Shift pattern

• Week 1: 2 days on 2 days off 3 nights on
• Week 2: 2 days off 2 days on 3 days off
• Week 3: 2 nights on 2 days off 3 days on
• Week 4: 2 days off 2 nights on 3 days off

Responsibilities

Deliverable Outcomes
The role will require you to deliver and demonstrate on a regular basis the following competencies:1) To perform all tasks within the production operative's role, after full training, to 100% compliance at all times

2) Perform all aspects of the production operative functions in a diligent manner, whilst ensuring health and safety standards are not compromised

3) To maintain solid operating basis in terms of good manufacturing practices Ensure full compliance of all sites based systems, such as ISO 9002, HACCP, Health & Safety site standards and policies, environment standards and Investors in People

4) To help support and identify operational synergies that would enhance continuous improvement within the Operational team.

5) To ensure that any product wastage is kept to a minimum, whilst also mitigating the need for product remixes being undertaken

Essential Experience and qualifications:

• Experience fast moving Food Manufacturing environment.
• Clear understanding of ISO 9001/BRC, Health & Safety, Food Safety, Hygiene, HACCP, COSHH and pest control and familiarity with relevant food legislation.
• Customer Focused
• Work to Targets
• Interpersonal skills
• Computer Literate
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Manual handling trained with the ability to lift up to 25Kg
• Counterbalance licence

Desirable Experience:

• Food safety
• Computer literate
• FLT Licence
• Bendi / PPT
