A fabulous opportunity has arisen for a Finance Assistant to join our own internal finance team here at Spencer Clarke Group.
We are looking for someone who is ideally AAT qualified (similar qualification or QBE, also taken into consideration) to join our growing finance team.
You will be joining a multi-sector recruitment company that recruits nationwide within the Accountancy & Finance, Construction, Corporate Functions, Education & SEND, NHS, Housing & Social Care markets, supplying temporary and permanent staff within boththe public and private sector.
Key responsibilities and duties include but not limited to:
- Input weekly data for payroll
- Uploading and updating key information onto our internal databases
- Working to strict deadlines
- Invoicing and general bookkeeping
- Bank Reconciliations
- Work with consultants to ensure adhoc duties are completed
- Data input
- Liaising with clients and chasing debtors
- Payment processing
- MI reporting
- Highly Organised
- Excellent communication skills written and verbal
- Positive attitude and the ability to work autonomously
- Competent with Quickbooks
- Strong IT skills with the ability to multitask
- Work to strict deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Work under pressure without comprising accuracy
- Be different think outside the box
For this role, experience in a similar role is advantageous. This is a full-time role where you will be undertaking a vital role in supporting the business with our payroll and finance functions. Annual salary for this role will range from
£22,000 to £30,000, depending on experience, with regular incentives and bonuses available. This is a very important role within the business as you will be essentially managing your own workload and ensuring timescales are consistently adheredto.

Additional information:
- This is a fulltime role, with flexibility available for the right person.
