About the role


Here at Kerry we are currently looking to recruit a HSE Co-Ordinator at our Menstrie site located near Stirling, Scotland.

The role will support the site in driving HSE performance, focusing on delivering and tracking strategic initiatives and improvementprogrammes.

The role will be supporting the HSE Lead onsite for day to day activities alongside having the initiative and remit to manage your own project onsite.


Key responsibilities

  • To participate and lead in Kerry Personnel routine site inductions
  • To complete Kerry HSE routine inductions
  • Responsible for being the Kerry Site Contact for HSE Contractors
  • Collation and reporting of the sites Safety Key Parameter Indicators (KPI's) including Safety Observations, Near Miss and Incidents utilising the INTELEX system.
  • Hazard identification and completion of Risk Assessment and COSHH Assessments
  • Routine Inspections and audits inline with Kerry Safety and Environmental Standards (K.S.E.S) and ISO14001 Environmental Standard
  • Site Safety & Environmental checks
  • Cross Functional support
  • Incident & Near Miss investigation support
  • Targeted annual targets which will include specific Safety projects

Qualifications and skills


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be confident, passionate, and proactive in safety principles and practices, and competent in.


  • Working in executing safetyrelated programs in a corporate environment
  • Ability to identify and recognize unsafe conditions or work practices.
  • Ability to work independently and display creativity, problemsolving skills, and exercise sound judgment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to organize and conduct effective program management type work
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to use a computer. Good knowledge of PC operations and MS Office are required.

Qualifications:

  • NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent and prepared to work towards NEBOSH Diploma with support from Kerry
  • Preferred: First Aid certified
