Salary:

S6 Grade from: £31,270 to £33,010 inclusive of London Weighting with potential to progress to £35,822 per annum inclusive of London Weighting.

(Pro-rata if Part-time)

The College's Bio-Annex is a growing rodent and aquatic research facility which supports our understanding of human health and disease.

We are looking for a Senior Animal Technician to join our team working with laboratory species including rodents and zebrafish to support regulated, licensed procedures.

We are looking for someone with a good level of general education in an appropriate science or animal welfare discipline.

Applicants must have experience of working in all aspects of animal husbandry, specifically with transgenic rodents and aquatic systems, preferably in a similar environment.

Ideal applicants will have a good understanding of all relevant Home Office and Health and Safety legislation and be able to work as part of a small team, acting as the deputy in the manager's absence.
