Responsibilities:

• Assess students' learning needs and develop personalized tutoring plans
• Help students improve their academic performance and achieve their goals
• Communicate with parents or guardians to provide progress updates and discuss areas for improvement
• Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage and motivate students
• Adapt tutoring techniques to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
• Collaborate with teachers or other professionals to support students with special education needs
• Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student progress

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in tutoring or working with children is preferred
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to effectively educate and explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
• Knowledge of various teaching methods and techniques
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students
• Flexibility to adapt to different learning styles and individual needs
• Understanding of special education principles and practices is a plus

Please note that this is not a remote position. Tutoring sessions will be conducted in-person at a designated location or the student's home.
