Our client is located in East London and they pride in producing high quality and fast deliveries to clients worldwide. The experienced machinists have been in the trade for the last 20+ years and their work speak for itself. *Main duties and responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor, who is passionate about the fashion industry and especially about the fabric. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and you will generate strategies that grow market share and the brand reputation and drive growth in the UK and Asia.
Creating and maintaining the critical path of product management from product design contribution, tech pack creation, patterns, toiles, fittings to preproduction samples.
Planning, organising, and overseeing, collaborating internally and externally in daytoday operations with regards to all production activities on both made to order for individual clients and ready to wear for wholesale.
Overseeing technical aspects of development têxtiles and fabrication, staying up to date on trends and innovations.
Managing fabric sourcing (including trade show visits) and ordering fabric and trim for any components required in the production of garments in line with the Company's quality standards and set budgets.
Stock fabric management. Communicating with sales team to recommend adjusting sales strategy if necessary, depending on fabric stock levels.
Negotiating production prices with factories for each new collection.
Managing factories timelines ensuring all production is delivered on time, meeting quality standards set and within budget.
Ad hoc factory visits ensuring quality and sustainable credentials required are being met.
Sourcing new costeffective suppliers.
Ensuring all goods are delivered to the studio are of the highest quality and standards required.
Communicating and instructing seamstresses, factories, suppliers, grading service and others involved in production process.
Understanding new collection developments from Creative Director to ensure smooth transition from developmental stage to production stage.
Managing seamstress workload and priorities based on seasonal deadlines and customer service commitments.
Ensuring you understand the Company's pattern cutting needs at all times and seamstress needs.
