Description

Job Role
Moving household and office furniture and other items to new premises or via storage.
Working in small through to large teams.
There are Zero hours contracts available with 3 month review and potential for permanent contracts after this point.

Role and Responsibilities

Household removals or relocations.
Office removals or relocations.
Taking goods into or out of storage.
Large specialist projects such as moving hospital, library or school equipment.
Moving specialist fine art and furniture.

Day to Day

Safely packaging items before removal or storage
Wrap & protect furniture into special wrappings and packing cases for shipping overseas.
As a specialist packer, you might go to a location before the move to wrap and pack delicate items, like china, glass, artwork and antiques.
Using packaging to protect fragile items such as computers or antiques.
Taking apart larger items of furniture for packing and removal.
Taking down curtains and lifting carpets if needed.
Removing doors, door frames or windows to get large pieces of furniture in or out of a building
Packing items, loading them into your vehicle and securing them safely
Checking that all goods are secure before driving off.
Driving to the new location, unloading the items, reassembling large items and placing them where the customer wants them.
Unwrapping furniture and unpacking cartons.

Benefits:

£95-100 Per Day depending on driving licence and experience
