Established for over 35 years, Duftons is the largest independent plumbing & heating merchant in the region and supply a full range of plumbing, heating, renewable energy, bathroom and commercial supplies.

We currently have 10 depots located across Yorkshire and we are now looking for a Marketing Assistant to join our Head Office in Leeds.

Based in Leeds, the role of
Marketing Assistant will report to the Marketing Manager and is the ideal opportunity to prove your abilities as part of a small team.

The role will be office based for your probationary period and then hybrid working may be an option.

Responsibilities include:

Assist in the development and delivery of marketing campaigns
Design and produce marketing literature e.g. quarterly price guide, branch posters, point of sale and bathroom brochure
Update and maintain the website
Social media content creation and schedule management
Daily admin tasks to support the marketing team
Organise and plan events such as trade weeks, breakfast mornings and charity events

Experience:

Design experience is essential
Social media management
Marketing experience desirable

Technical skills:

Ability to use Adobe creative suite including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop to create content and edit artwork
Strong admin skills with attention to detail

Personal Skills:

Confident in communication and comfortable working with multiple branches and departments
Ability to multitask
Creative flair and open thinking
Able to take on board constructive feedback
Highly organised
Motivated, self starter
