PaddlePod is recruiting an enthusiastic café supervisor at our Killingworth Venue and a Cook/Cafe Assisiatnt at Whitley Bay. Full time opportunities are available. Flexible shifts (daytime, evening, weeken etc).
Our venues are visited by over 3,000 swimmers (and their families) each and every week.

In addition, we welcome visitors who come to enjoy our soft play area, our sensory rooms, our weekly baby & toddler groups, and the various other classes that take place in our buildings.

While we are best known for our state-of-the-art pools, we are more than just a place to swim.

We're a place that people come to catch up with friends and enjoy a bite to eat, a place where new mums come to meet other new parents, a place that young children love to explore, a hub for the whole community.

Our busy cafe areas are one of the many things that make our venues stand-out.

To help us meet the growing needs of our customers, we are looking for experienced full-time staff to join our team.

Responsibilities of the role

• Serving customers and preparing food and drinks
• Providing a warm welcome to all our visitors
• Managing our play areas
• Hosting and supporting with children's parties
• Ensuring our venues remain spotless at all times
• Responding to customer enquiries

What are we looking for?
You will need to be bubbly, energetic, and have a real 'can do' attitude.

Our customers are, predominantly, young children (and their grown-ups). So, it is important that you enjoy working with children.

Barista experience is a bonus (but full training will be provided, if needed)l, and a Level 2 food safety & hygiene for catering qualification is desirable.
