About this Role:


George Salter Academy is a happy and vibrant 11-18 academy, serving a multi-cultural community in the heart of West Bromwich and we are looking for a motivated and inspiring individual to lead our Design and Technology department from September 2024 (MPS/UPS + TLR 2b).


Our KS3 consists of a 1⁄2 yearly rotation with weekly double lessons (1hr 40mins) and KS4 students receive 3 lessons per week, following either the Cambridge National in Engineering Design course or the GCSE Design and Technology course.

The department has 2 fully equipped workshops, receives a healthy budget and is well equipped and supported by leadership.

The closing date for this advert is Sunday 19th May 2024 at 5pm. Interviews will take place week commencing Monday 20th May 2024.
