Design Technology Technician - January 2023 start

Do you have experience working within the workshop? Are you familiar with Woodwork and graphic design? Are you wanting to different career change? If so, I am looking for a DT Technician on behalf of my partner secondary school based in the Kirklees area.

Nearby to areas such as Batley, Dewsbury, Mirfield and Liversedge, this secondary school are looking for someone to eventually go onto the schools permanent contract in the near future.

What I am looking for:

Experience working within a workshop environment
The ability to support class teachers and pupils alike
An understanding of Health and safety within the workshop
Woodwork and graphic design experience
Fulltime availability from January 2023

The role

Focal support point within the DT department
Assist in the set up and tidy down of practical lessons
Making sure all pupils and learning safely
Keeping workshops tidy and clutter free
Being on hand to support with a wide range of tools/machinery

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR VERITAS EDUCATION

Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and all employment breaks must be explained
You must have legal right to work in the UK
You must be willing to attend a registration interview
