Concept Procurement are delighted to be partnered with this market leading organisation to hire a new Head of Procurement for their Midlands head office.

This is a newly created role as part of their continued growth and investment.


The Head of Procurement will be responsible for:

  • Creating and delivering exceptional processes and procedures.
  • Managing a complex portfolio of both Direct and Indirect spend, laying out a Category strategy and delivering YOY cost savings.
  • Mitigate risk with suppliers and manage delivery to contractual SLAs.
  • Manage the performance and capabilities of the procurement team.
  • Ensure data, forecasting and contractual KPI performance measurement is routinely reported and acted upon.

The ideal Head of Procurement will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Highly capable leader with extensive people management experience and a strategic mindset.
  • CIPS and degree or equivalent qualification is preferred.
  • Proven experience leading a highly productive procurement function.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and engagement skills and the ability to influence.
  • Result orientated with the ability to present results at a board level.
  • Strong project management capability.
