Description

This role involves but is not limited to:

Work with the Legal Heads to provide support and guidance to fee earners in relation to the policies and practices within the Taylor Rose MW residential conveyancing department.


Review source of funds checks for the residential property fee earners in line with the requirements of the property department.


Together with the Legal Head monitor file levels, accounts balances, dormant files and liaise with the respective fee earners over the action to be taken.

Ensuring that follow up is undertaken and appropriate actions completed.

Assisting with the leaver procedure for fee earners to ensure all files are accounted for and reallocated where necessary.

Liaising with the leaving consultant/sub consultant, accounts, consultant liaison team, post completion team and others areas of the business as appropriate.

Working with post completion team in respect of escalated issues on conveyancing files.

Assisting with general file reviews where required.

Carrying out high value transaction reviews.


Assist with training on the case management system and be a point of contact for day to day queries as to how to use the system from a residential conveyancing perspective.

Work with the Legal Head, Regional Leads and Director of Property to update precedents as and when required.


Requirements:

Extensive post qualifying residential conveyancing experience

Previous experience of running conveyancing case load.

Legal knowledge of the conveyancing process, and the ability to research where appropriate.

Good management, organisational and project management skills.

Good problem solving and communication skills.

Ability to work to deadlines and achieve results.
