Senior Administrator

Edinburgh based | hybrid working - must be able to attend the Edinburgh office regularly

Full Time role | Monday to Friday

Permanent role | £28,000 salary + benefits

Search Consultancy are currently working with an Edinburgh based client to recruit an experienced Senior Administrator who will be responsible for providing extensive and varied Administration & PA support to their Policy team.


Duties involved in this role will include:

  • Providing comprehensive administration & document management support to the policy team within the business
  • Organisation of meetings including the preparation of agendas, booking venues, distributing paperwork & taking/producing meeting minutes
  • Collating, formatting & producing board papers, uploading to Boardpacks
  • Liaising with stakeholders at all levels of seniority, answering basic queries & escalating where necessary
  • Booking required travel & accommodation for the team & producing itineraries where required
  • Logging & processing expense forms, seeking approval where needed
  • Creating & maintaining spreadsheets & project plans
  • Preparation of documentation, letters, PowerPoint slides, diagrams & visual aids
  • Updating the company CRM system.

In order to be considered for this role your skills and experience should include:

  • Extensive previous experience in a PA or high level Administration role carrying out duties in line with the above spec
  • this experience is essential
  • Excellent organisational & time management skills, with the ability to prioritise & complete a very busy workload effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent IT Skills including the full MS Office suite particularly Excel
