Job Overview:

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join
#team105.

As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.

This is a full-time position with competitive pay and regular overtime. We have free parking on site.

We are keen to speak to machinists that are either time served or third year apprentices.


Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines to perform machining operations such as turning, milling, drilling, and grinding
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, and job orders to determine dimensions and tolerances
• Select the appropriate tools, materials, and speeds for each job
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments
• Make adjustments to machine settings as needed
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes

Skills:

• Proficiency in CNC programming and operation
• Knowledge of tooling selection and setup
• Strong mathematical skills for basic calculations and measurements
• Mechanical knowledge to understand machine components and processes
• Familiarity with Hypermill
• Proficiency in milling is preferred

£36,400.00 per year
