£40,297 per annum

Hours:
Full time, Monday to Friday shifts standard 8am-5pm

Contract: 4 month FIXED TERM CONTRACT with potential for extension.

We're looking for a
Management Accountantworking in Poole BH15.

You'll need to be a fully qualified member of a recognised qualification (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) as well as at minimum 1 years experience in similar role.

Your role will be to provide the best financial information and support for our development business with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities will include:

Production of monthly management and assisting with annual statutory accounts
Preparation of budgets and forecasts
Preparation of financial reports and liaison with budget holders and other stakeholders external to finance to discuss and review
Maintaining a good level of technical accounting knowledge to ensure that accounts are prepared correctly and in line with the relevant accounting standards.
Ensure all reporting deadlines are met without exception
Manage workload, delivery and development of assistant management accountants
Balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with best practice
Journal processing, including ensuring the correct accounting of accruals and prepayments
Review of assistant management accounts work to ensure accuracy
Interrogation of financial systems to identify errors and make corrections
Variance analysis
Adhoc reporting and analysis
Identify opportunities for improvements and challenge the status quo
External returns and reporting
Requirement to assist with projects and undertake additional responsibilities on an adhoc basis
