We're looking for a General Operative to join our Highways Team based in Staines.

Responsibilities

As a General Operative, you'll be working within the Highways Team and will form part of a large work force delivering several services across the contract including reactive maintenance, immediate response, schemes, minor planned drainage works.

Your day to day will include:

When trained to do so, operate a variety of plant and equipment to carry out required duties effectively
Assist with ensuring the site and company equipment is always secure. It is paramount all health and safety measures are adhered to and followed at all times.
Working within different teams you will from part of our call out rota system covering immediate response throughout the year and winter maintenance duties/call outs between October & April

Who are we looking for?
This role of a General Operative is great for you if you have:

12ab Lantra traffic management trained with a basic Lantra VRS qualification
A full driving licence as well as a valid CSCS card
Understand asset management awareness and have experience and knowledge of strict health & safety operations and its practical implications
