An experienced Payroll Officer required for a long-term contract with our fantastic Client based near Erdington in Birmingham.

Familiar with the intricacies of a complex payroll, you will be confident, experienced, able to ensure accuracy and be able to identify and rectify discrepancies quickly.


Role Duties will include:


  • Ensure all payroll data is complete and accurate and supplied in the agreed format.
  • Liaise with HMRC to confirm NI and identity requirements.
  • Ensure any variables eg, AoE are recorded accurately.
  • Use required templates for any Variable Adjustments.
  • Monitor Payroll Calculation, Checking and Reconciliation, updating and resolving queries/issues in a timely manner.
  • Provide Payroll reports for review and provide commentary if required.
  • Issue funds to the payroll provider for employee net pay, HMRC & third party payments.
  • Distribution of statutory reports ie, P60, P45, SSP1 / SMP1 / OSPP1 and SAP1 to employees as and when required.
  • General Ledger / Pension Import
  • Provide ad hoc support as and when required.

Salary:
£30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
