is a leading supplier of specialist building materials to trade customers across Europe as a specialist distributor of insulation and interiors products and merchant of roofing and exterior products.

We are currently looking to recruit a
Sales Coordinator to act as first point of contact for our customers and support the Gateshead branch sales team in a very busy but lively and encouraging environment.

What does the role involve?

As a
Sales Coordinator, you will help the branch to develop and maintain new sales opportunities, pro-actively targeting both new and existing customers.

It is a role that will see you collaborating closely with the warehouse team to ensurethe right products are delivered at the right time.

Regularly engaging with our external sales force, following up on all sales quotes and leads in a timely manner, record activity and utilise internal systems accurately.

You'll also input orders onto oursystem and maintain our sales records.

  • Previous internal sales support experience, purchasing / sales order processing experience would be desirable
  • The ability to build and maintain strong relationships and deliver good quality customer service
  • To have good data accuracy and attention to detail with good level of numeracy and IT skills
