An exciting opportunity to join Culture Leicestershire.

PLEASE NOTE:
Interviews for this post will be held during the week begining 17/04/2023

Main duties of the role will include:

Supporting the Cultural Outreach Manager to co-ordinate and deliver the Culture to You Service
Support the development of the Culture to You volunteering strategy and offer in line with LCC and national volunteering good practice principles, including the management responsibility of volunteers
Coordinate and manage the selection of cultural assets ensuring appropriate care and management of resources

Essential Requirements

BTEC higher or NVQ 3 (or equivelent)
Experience of recruiting, supporting and managing volunteers
Knowledge of good practice principles in volunteer management
Knowledge and understanding of the barriers to accessing cultural participation, services and sites
Experience of working in a community, culture or heritage environment
Experience of working with the public in a customer focussed environment, particularly in dealing with community groups and oganisations
Partnership working
