The Role:


We are looking for an enthusiastic team player who is detail orientated and highly motivated to join our Metered Operations team.

You will be carrying out various administration duties for domestic and commercial metered customers throughout Ireland and will be responsible for exceeding customer expectations by delivering quality results.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily gas metered operations, ensuring accurate readings, billing, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate with field technicians to schedule and perform meter installations, maintenance, and replacements.
  • Manage all change of ownership, disconnections, and reconnections.
  • Analyse meter data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential issues.
  • Generate reports on gas consumption patterns, meter accuracy, and operational performance.
  • Stay informed about industry regulations and standards related to gas metering operations.
  • Ensure that all metered operations comply with safety and environmental guidelines.
  • Collaborate with customer service teams to address inquiries related to gas meter readings and operations.
  • Provide support and resolution for customer concerns related to metered operations.
  • Work with technology teams to implement and optimize gas metering technologies.
  • Stay updated on advancements in metering technology and propose improvements.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including logistics, customer service, and regulatory affairs to ensure seamless operations.
  • Participate in meetings to share insights and coordinate strategies.

The Person:

  • Minimum of two to three years of experience in operations or in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Knowledge of gas metering systems, technology, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
