This Top 10 Law Firm is looking for a Commercial Technology Lawyer, 1-3 years PQE, to join within their Top-tier City of London practice.

The Role

The technology team advises a wide range of clients, including financial institutions, insurance companies, tech companies and state authorities, on contractual and regulatory matters related to the implementation of cuttingedge technologies and complex technology arrangements

- the team focuses on five key areas: Blockchain and cryptoassets, from regulatory compliance and anti-money laundering advice to establishing industry-wide consortia to develop new and innovative use cases for the; Digital health; Open finance, focusing on initiatives that facilitate new products for consumers to access, track and transmit money in an open and transparent way; Operational resilience, advising financial institutions on a range of measures, processes and systems to ensure that its business can continue to operate when faced with disruption; and Artificial Intelligence, and particularly its implication within the financial services sector.

You will need understanding of legal principles related to IT/IP and Technology legal practice, along with a working knowledge of other practice areas (e.g. data protection, intellectual property, financial services regulation).

Requirements:

You will be a Commercial Lawyer, 13 years PQE, with experience dealing with technology matters.
Good organisational skills.
Enthusiasm for intellectually challenging work.
Excellent client relationship skills and experience in business development.
