Selective Care are a high quality care company looking for Healthcare Assistants (HCA) to join our team based in Southampton, Hampshire.
This role is a domiciliary care role, you would be required to visit clienteles' homes.Role:

Salary:
£10.50 per hour weekdays, £11.50 per hour weekends + mileage
Location:
Southampton
Hours:
Full Time (7am to 2pm / 3pm to 10pm)
Part Time Hours available.
Primary duties of Healthcare Assistant (HCA):
- To provide care in accordance with best practice and legislative requirements, reflecting policies and procedures and agreed standards under the direction of the Registered Manager
- Providing personal care and support within our client's homes in the local community.
- To support and enable Service Users to maintain skills and personal interests whilst delivering personcentred care unique to each
- Ensure Service Users are at the heart of care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their
- To contribute to the efficient running of the
- Support Service Users to maintain their relationships and connections with the local
- Ensure Care Plans and other information about how to support Service Users are
- Be responsible for informing the Registered Manager of any changes in the needs of Service
- Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals they
- Develop effective working relationships with other employees within Selective Recruitment
- Work in cooperation with members of the multidisciplinary teams to maximise opportunities for Service
- If desired by the Service User, maintain and develop relationships with family, friends and other people important in their life,
- Seek opportunities for personal and professional growth
- Be a role model for other carer's and be an ambassador for the service
- Knowledge of, and work within, the Fundamental Standards
- Understand the regulatory framework that governs the service, including the role of CQC and their requirements
- Commit to achieving the relevant qualifications commensurate with the role
- Attend statutory training and any other training as directed by management
- Understand and follow all policies and procedures relevant to the role
- Be open to learning opportunities
- Be professional, polite and reasonable at all times.
