Selective Care are a high quality care company looking for Healthcare Assistants (HCA) to join our team based in Southampton, Hampshire.

This role is a domiciliary care role, you would be required to visit clienteles' homes.

Role:
Healthcare Assistant (HCA)

Salary:
£10.50 per hour weekdays, £11.50 per hour weekends + mileage

Location:
Southampton

Hours:
Full Time (7am to 2pm / 3pm to 10pm)

Part Time Hours available.

Primary duties of Healthcare Assistant (HCA):

To provide care in accordance with best practice and legislative requirements, reflecting policies and procedures and agreed standards under the direction of the Registered Manager
Providing personal care and support within our client's homes in the local community.
To support and enable Service Users to maintain skills and personal interests whilst delivering personcentred care unique to each
Ensure Service Users are at the heart of care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their
To contribute to the efficient running of the
Support Service Users to maintain their relationships and connections with the local
Ensure Care Plans and other information about how to support Service Users are
Be responsible for informing the Registered Manager of any changes in the needs of Service
Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals they
Develop effective working relationships with other employees within Selective Recruitment
Work in cooperation with members of the multidisciplinary teams to maximise opportunities for Service
If desired by the Service User, maintain and develop relationships with family, friends and other people important in their life,
Seek opportunities for personal and professional growth
Be a role model for other carer's and be an ambassador for the service
Knowledge of, and work within, the Fundamental Standards
Understand the regulatory framework that governs the service, including the role of CQC and their requirements
Commit to achieving the relevant qualifications commensurate with the role
Attend statutory training and any other training as directed by management
Understand and follow all policies and procedures relevant to the role
Be open to learning opportunities
Be professional, polite and reasonable at all times.
