Timberpak, a leading Wood Recycler, grades and processes various forms of waste wood for the production of wood-based materials by its parent company EGGER, with sites in Leeds, Bellshill and Washington.

We are looking to add a HGV Driver (preferably with some hook loader experience) to the team.

£15.17 per hour (£33,531 per annum).


Your Tasks

  • Ensure that vehicles are driven safely whilst maintaining the condition of your vehicle when in use on the road.
  • Make sure that collections and deliveries are made in good time.
  • Good awareness of general vehicle maintenance as you will be expected to work well independently and report defects accurately where necessary.
  • Adhere to any site rules as supplied by the customer, to be smart of appearance, courteous and helpful to customers being an ambassador for the Timberpak and Egger brands at all times.
  • Ensure that all safety precautions are taken, that any vehicle or equipment is in good working order, and that tasks are conducted in a safe working manner.

Our Requirements

  • H.G.V. licence (class one is preferable), with a minimum of one years' experience preferred.
  • Roll on, roll off and wagon and drag would be an advantage, however training can be provided
  • Walking floor experience preferred.
  • Drivers CPC.
  • Health and Safety awareness.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Attained a reasonable standard of secondary education.
  • Presentable, wearing full uniform and PPE (provided) which is to be worn at all times.
  • Able to work between 05:30 14:00hrs, Monday to Friday with some weekend work.

Salary:
£15.17 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime
  • Weekend availability
