Zepbrook is looking for a motivated Junior Buyer to join our procurement team. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn.


Job Type - Permanent

Monday to Friday


Office based -
Park Royal, London.


Main objective -
Assist buyers in day-to-day procurement duties and tasks.


Job Description -
General administration and other ad hoc duties assisting the purchasing - mainly - and accounts departments.

Ensure all pricing and product information is up to date on the database.


Prepare purchase orders and send copies to suppliers, dealing with issues arising with the orders, following up with suppliers providing accountability to the purchasing department on agreed lead times / delivery dates.

Update the team about any delays or problems with suppliers.

Chase back orders.

Ensure all purchase orders inputted in the system are accurate.

Deal with occasional customer complaints.

Create new product codes in Sage.

Ensure deadlines are met.

Booking in of deliveries and allocation of stock to back orders.

Stock adjustments.

Filing/scanning of delivery notes.

Invoice matching and filing.

IT data input.

Check supplier invoices against orders received and follow up any discrepancies with the relevant supplier.

We'd really like you to have Maths and English GCSEs at Grade C/4 or equivalent.

Previous administration experience.

Any purchasing qualifications will be an advantage, but they are not essential.

You must be computer literate and have good verbal and written communication skills.

Knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.

Be a team player, happy to listen, and roll your sleeves up to get stuck in


Salary:
£26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
