We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our Finance team, based out of our HQ in Essington.

You must have a minimum of 2 years' experience working and dealing with purchase ledger. Knowledge of SAGE is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

Ability to manage high volumes of invoices.
Ensure invoice details are accurately coded and input correctly.
Process monthly supplier statement reconciliations.
Work to agreed monthend cut off timetable.
Ensure all filing is done correctly and in a timely manner.
Liaise with suppliers to sort queries.
Liaise with various departments within our construction company, ensuring effective communication with regard to any queries on invoices and payments.
General administration

About you:

Well organised and pays attention to detail.
Able to organise own workload & prioritise effectively.
Purchase Ledger experience
Excellent and accurate IT skills.
Enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
Operates with a professional manner.
Ability to work in a team.
Competent using Microsoft Office.
Reliable and flexible attitude to work.
Selfmotivated and able to use own initiative.
Time Management skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and oral.

Experience within the construction industry is desirable.

Immediate start available

Hours:09:30 - 14:30 (flexible hours may be agreed to suit a multitude of factors such as school run etc.)

Reporting to:
Finance Manager

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 25 per week

Salary:
From £10.50 per hour
