Futures seek to appoint a Principle Firmware Engineer for our client near Manchester.

Leading their expanding engineering team on a mixture of NPD and legacy projects you will mix your time between hands on design work and mentor your small but expandingteam.

As Principle Firmware Engineer you will be primarily focused on embedded C with an appreciation of the hardware teams activities.

You must have worked for an SME supplying in to largecorporate customers, and you must have a solid background in embedded C / Firmware coding.

Principle Firmware Engineer - Role & Responsibilities - Embedded Software / Senior Firmware Engineer / Engineering Manager / Firmware / C / Coding

Manage multiple projects including new design and rework/modification
Efficiently work to deadlines and guarantee delivery on company deadlines
Varied role encompassing all aspects of embedded software coding
Exposure to electronics hardware design
Liaise with other members of the engineering team and direct junior members of staff

Principle Firmware Engineer - Skills & Abilities - Embedded Software / Senior Firmware Engineer / Engineering Manager / Firmware / C / Coding**- Degree qualified in Electrical & Electronic Engineering / Computing / Physics or equivalent

Proficient in embedded C (and variants of C)
Appreciation of electronics hardware
Experience in a senior or team leader role
