Working within the busy Student Support Team, the Funding Administrator post will support students to access funding to support their studies and travel to college.

You will have excellent customer service skills, good maths and organisational skills.

You will need to be able to cope in a busy environment and be a strong team player with outstanding communication skills.

You will implement efficient, fair and transparent funding and welfare advisory services and systems as well as being heavily involved in maintaining appropriate, high quality funding administration systems for current FE and adult students.

This role will be based at our Thurrock campus.

Anyone starting midway through the academic year will have their monthly salary slightly reduced, as staff need to have worked a certain length of time through the academic year to be able to receive continued payment through the summer, when you won't be expected to work.

The actual figure would be calculated once a start date is confirmed.

At the beginning of the next academic year the monthly salary will revert to 1/12th of the whole pro rata salary quoted.
