Arkley's Little Acorns is looking for an enthusiastic, caring, and reliable practitioner to join our friendly team.


Responsibilities:

• Creating and maintaining a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children
• Adhering to all safeguarding requirements of the nursery and looking after the welfare of the children
• Devising activities, both indoors and outdoors, to encourage ongoing learning and social interactions
• Acknowledging the individual needs of the children, including those who need additional support and care
• Preparing snacks and drinks, and supervising children during meals
• Changing nappies or assisting children with using the toilet when required
• Reporting any concerns to supervisors regarding a child's emotional state or development

Experience
Ideally a minimum of one-year continuous practical experience working in a nursery or pre-school. We support practitioners with continuous professional development in our well-resourced nursery.


Skills

• A passion to work with children
• Good command of English
• Ability to write cohesive observations and reports
• Selfmotivated and have the ability to work as part of a team
• Strong organisational skills and time management
• Implementing creative method of teaching
• Flexible and wiling to adapt
• Positive professional ethics.
• Enthusiasm and willingness to learn and develop
