Description

We are looking for an individual to fill this new Obstetric Consultant post at the Leeds General Infirmary and St Jamess University Hospital.

The post includes a 1:11 obstetric on call commitment

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Obstetric department at Leeds Teaching Hospitals.

The post is new and has been developed as part of the departments expansion in Consultant Obstetricians, funded by the national Ockenden funding.


Leeds maternity services are a busy, research active tertiary centre providing regional obstetric services including specialist fetal medicine, maternal medicine and placenta accreta services.

The LGI is co-located with a Level 3 surgical (incl cardiac) NNU.

The Trust received a good in its last CQC inspection and maternity services have also been assessed as being good.
