A fantastic opportunity is available as an Analytical Development Chemist. This is due to company expansion & growth.

The Pharmaceutical company specialises in the manufacture of liquid dose cancer treatment drugs and it will be your opportunity as the AnalyticalDevelopment Chemist to develop HPLC & UPLC methods to test this product.


As an Analytical Development Chemist; you will be required to:

  • Prepare of standard operating procedure for development and validation activity.
  • Develop stability indicating analytical methods for assay, related substances and residue methods on UPLC and HPLC.
  • Prepare method validation protocols for API, in process and finished product analytical methods per the SOP.
  • Prepare method validation reports for API, in process and finished product analytical methods to meet the regulatory requirement.
  • Preparation of Final analytical methods for API, Excipients, in process, finished product for quality control testing.

The essential skills & experience you will need are:

  • University degree in a science discipline.
  • 3 years' experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience of working within a quality system environment.
  • Good understating of GMP and GDP and relevant guidelines/updates.
  • Knowledge of EU and UK quality related pharmaceutical regulations.
  • Trouble shooting and problem solving skills.
  • Able to work as part of a team or alone.
