_About the Department_:


The Registry is part of the Student and Academic Services Directorate, alongside Academic Services, Careers, Student Advice and Wellbeing and Student Experience, Engagement and Retention.


The Registry is responsible for the central elements of student administration for the University, with specialist teams including Student Records, Assessment and Progression, Fees and Funding, Visa Compliance, Curriculum and Quality Assurance.


_About the __Role:
_**This is an exciting opportunity to lead on enrolment for Online students within Student records. This is a key role that requires cross team collaboration, ensuring the seamless operation of student enrolment processes. Developing and implementing enhancements to ensure ongoing success.


_About you_:


You will be able to:

  • Manage develop and deliver all activities undertaken by the Student Administration Officer
  • Propose, develop, and implement systems, protocols, and procedures to ensure the prompt and accurate operation of processes around student enrolment, progression and withdrawal.
  • Provide advice to students and staff, and maintain accurate and up to date online guidance, on the regulations and academic policies of the school concerning student enrolment, progression, and withdrawal.
  • To work across Registry and with other departments of SOAS to ensure a joinedup experience for students and to facilitate the provision of accurate advice on enrolment and progression by all parts of the school.
