Avove is a new, independent utilities infrastructure business, formed from the utilities division of leading infrastructure services company, Amey.
We design, build and maintain the UK's utilities infrastructure to help transform local communities for the better.
We are proud to work in partnership with our clients, including Severn Trent, United Utilities, Yorkshire Water, Scottish Water, Northern Powergrid and Scottish Power.
The Role:
The Lead HSE Advisor reports directly to the Head of HSEQ while working very closely with the local account leads and team.
This role will look after our Severn Trent Water account and be based from home and our offices in Castle Donnington & Shifnal.
Responsibilities:
- Create strategy with Account Director
- Attend senior management meetings
- Managing Team
- Set local inspection and audit level
- Support bids for the account
- Inductions for new starters
- Training of E20 and development of system to support account.
- Understand the relevant client requirements and implementing as necessary
- Working with supplier chain to ensure they stay safe and follow account and company standards
- Work with BSI when relevant to maintain the ISO standards
Skills and Experience:
- NEBOSH Qualification
- Good interpersonal and management skills
- Environmental awareness
- Ideally have experience working in the Utilities Industry
