The post holder will be based within the South Manchester division of GMMH to improve and develop all aspects of social care and provide senior advice to managers and practitioners on the delegated responsibilities set out in the s.75 agreement.
The post holder will provide senior support and advice to South Manchester teams to ensure the best possible standard of social care is delivered to users, their families and carers.
The post holder will support the monitoring and reporting of the organisation's statutory responsibilities for the use of the Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act, DOLs, Care Act and other legislative functions and accountabilities.
They will lead on the embedding of good practice standards and sustainable systems that support delivery these aspects of the organisation's statutory responsibilities in relation to its legislative functions and accountabilities.
The post holder will take a lead on divisional training programme to promote the delivery of high-quality social care provision.
- Support the division in the delivery of the delegated social care functions of Manchester City as detailed in the section 75 agreement
- Share knowledge and expertise by presenting training sessions and individual coaching
- The post holder will take a lead for Social Work Development across the 3 divisions which includes Student placements and our inhouse ASYE programme.
