The Role
Realise HR is delighted to be working in exclusive partnership with Castles & Coasts Housing Association. We're looking for a new HR Officer to partner with the Castles & Coasts Services (CCS) team.
This role will provide a professional, generalist HR service to CCS colleagues as well as supporting the wider Castles & Coasts HR function.
This may suit an HR Administrator, Assistant or Officer looking to take the next step in their career, as the role will include specialist focus in areas such as Recruitment and Early Careers (such as Apprenticeships).
Responsibilities
- Provide a professional and robust HR support service to CCS employees.
- Support CCS line managers with recruitment (advertising to onboard)
- Provide administrative support to the recruitment of CCS apprentices.
- Maintain uptodate Job Descriptions & Person Specifications for all CCS roles.
- Ensure Right to Work and DBS checks are conducted as necessary.
- Prepare new and revised contracts of employment.
- Monitor compliance and support CCS line managers with the induction and probation processes, along with ongoing 1:1s and PDRs
- Support CCS line managers with leaver processes including arranging exit interviews.
- Support the HR Manager to coordinate and deliver training and development activities
- Support the HR Manager in implementing absence management strategies as well as line managers in implementing these processes.
- Support payroll processes as appropriate including the provision of uptodate and accurate CCS payroll data, administration of employee benefits, and act as the first point of contact for CCS payroll enquiries.
- Support the HR Manager to implement the Wellbeing Strategy.
About You
Experience of:
- Working as part of a busy HR and payroll team
- Providing HR support to a range of employee types and levels
- Maintaining computerised information systems, creating system reports and producing management information data
- Preparing documentation for senior management
- Dealing with confidential information
A CIPD qualification and/or experience of providing HR support to mobile workforces would be an advantage but is not essential.
