The Company
This market-leading fashion retailer is looking for a Financial Accountant to join their Head Office team in the West. This business has a true omnichannel business in the fashion sector.

The Role
As Financial Accountant, you will ensure that the ongoing financial accounting procedures are effective and efficient for the business.

Key responsibilities of the Financial Accountant role include -

Ensure that the monthly management accounts are produced accurately and within prescribed timescales.
Ensure that the budgets and forecasts for the balance sheet and cash flow statement are produced accurately and within prescribed timescales.
Provide highlevel analysis for senior management as requested.
Strong stakeholder experience
Responsibility for balance sheet reconciliation and control
Preparation of balance sheet and funds flow budgets and forecasts
Monthly management accounts and flash reporting to Senior Finance within prescribed deadlines
Representation of Financial Accounts at cost meetings with various
Production of aged debt reports and other financial reports including statutory accounts
Has operated as a Management or Financial Account or Finance Manager in a similar size business.
Previous experience working in a Retail, FMCG, B2C or Hospitality business
At least Part-Qualified Accountant
ACCA, CIMA or ICAEW
Ideally has worked in a multisite operation
Leadership and communication skills
Extensive experience in producing monthly management accounts and reports
