Meetings and Events Air coordinator - Required for this expanding global TMC. This is an exciting position where you will look after the logistics of air travel for two pharmaceutical clients who organise multiple global conferences. Working off Sabre you will have strong flights knowledge but with experience of building relationships in this sector to get the job done. Salary up to 42k, homebased.


Meetings and Events Air coordinator

  • Organising and delivering travel to multiple worldwide conferences, to include group travel
  • Deliver project within budget
  • Establish communication methods (meetings/calls) throughout the team
  • Keep the project sponsor(s) and stakeholders informed about status
  • Document assumptions, learnings, decisions and actions; distribute to participants and stakeholders
  • Unblock actions that are stuck and are preventing results. Escalate when necessary.
  • Manage project risks
  • Work across other teams to leverage projects to drive growth and performance
  • Engage in strategy discussions with all levels

Meetings and Events Air coordinators skills required

  • Extensive experience in the corporate travel management industry within air and the meetings and incentives arena
  • Solid working knowledge of the travel industry, policies, procedures and processes
  • Knowledge skills on travel industry systems (i.e. GDS Sabre, Amadeus)
  • Strong commercial English skills
  • Startup mentality, Innovative and eager for results
  • Effective communication skills (oral, written and presentation)
  • Excellent organization and timemanagement skills
  • Comfortable working in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Project management experience
