Job Title - Workshop Engineer


Location - Newcastle


Salary - £30k - £35k + benefits


We have and exciting opportunity for a Workshop Engineer to work for a large national company that supply plant equipment and services into the construction industry.

The client is looking for an experienced, hard-working Engineer to be based from the depot.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading company with a brilliant benefits package and progression prospects.

The main parts of the role include:

  • Carry out essential maintenance and servicing to the plant machinery.
  • Maintenance, service, repair and modification of equipment.
  • Diagnose faults accurately and identify correct solutions to rectify.
  • Follow depot processes and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Worked in a similar role previously with a background
  • Good mechanical engineering, plant / agriculture experience.
  • Knowledge of petrol and diesel engines.
  • Qualification in plant maintenance is desirable.
  • Knowledge with hydraulics desirable.
  • Good technical ability.
  • Full UK driver's license.
