Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the ULHT trust wide IBD nursing team. The post is an integral part of the gastroenterology multi-disciplinary team caring for patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease.

The nursing service is led by a band 8a advanced nurse practitioner, supported by a band 7 IBD clinical nurse specialist and three band 6 IBD nurses.


We are looking for a highly motivated, committed, confident, enthusiastic person, ideally with gastroenterology or related experience, to join our dynamic team providing high quality patient care across our Hospital sites.

This role will predominantly be to provide effective and efficient support to the IBD nursing team.


The post holder will fulfil all tasks and work as an integral part of the IBD Team to meet the needs of the service, under the auspices of the registered practitioners, in line with local and national protocols and guidelines.

Lincoln Hospital is a thriving university city, and with the opening of the new medical school, it provides all major specialties and a 24-hour major accident and emergency service.

This district general hospital serves the city of Lincoln and the North Lincolnshire area. It provides all major specialties and a 24-hour major accident and emergency service.


Louth Hospital is set on the edge of the Wolds and serves the communities of Louth and the local area.

It provides a number of services, including an outpatient department, diagnostic and surgical procedures, as well as a surgical ward.
