PET-Xi Training has a fantastic opportunity for an
IT Support Technicianto join our team in Coventry on a full-time contract.


Reporting to the IT Manager, you will monitor the Helpdesk and provide support to end users, undertake day-to-day administration of IT systems, deploy equipment, and maintain the asset management and helpdesk system.

You will also be given the opportunityto lead on some upcoming IT projects, and to play a key role in the security of the IT systems by developing your Cyber-Security, Server and Networking skills.


Pre-requisites for all applicants:


  • Applicants MUST be living within commuting distance of Coventry CV4 as this role is entirely officebased.
  • Applicants MUST have at least 2 years' experience in IT support, preferably gained in the UK.
  • Customer Service experience preferred.
  • IT Qualifications advantageous but not essential.

Key responsibilities for the role:


  • Troubleshooting hardware and software issues for users.
  • Installing and configuring software and hardware systems.
  • Performing system maintenance and updates.
  • Resolving security incidents and performing securityrelated tasks.
  • Assisting with server and network infrastructure configuration and maintenance.
  • Acting as a communication relay, making sure all parties receive necessary information and that this information is accurate.
  • Assist the IT Manager in the delivery of IT Projects and take ownership of some of your own.
  • Providing user training and assistance on new systems and technologies.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in technology and cyber security.
  • Maintain the asset management system.
